I dont know what it is about reality TV stars, but we tend to get attached to them.
I know my parents always make some sort of fish for dinner on Tuesdays because thats deadliest catch night. Strange I know.
Especially with shows like Deadliest Catch or Storm Chasers, where their career field puts them in danger. For myself, I always think “they are on TV nothing will happen to them.” But this is very wrong.
Last week the main people on the show storm chasers passed away while chasing storms. And of course everyone said “at least they died doing what they love”. I think that this will give the network a sad opportunity to show people that these guys actually are put in danger in their field and people should not chase storms unless they are trained. Even those that are trained are in danger.
This also really shows the impact that tornados have had on Oklahoma and how much devastation they have caused in the area.
My heart goes out to Oklahoma and all those affected.
